Daniel Hövel has a broad range of experience in the field of intellectual property as well as in data protection, commercial and contract law. He advises companies on the drafting and negotiation of distribution and licensing agreements as well as on the establishment, monitoring, and defense of rights. A focus is on litigation, particularly in trademark, design, and patent law.
Another focus of Daniel Hövel's work is the consulting of clients from the agency and media industry, especially in data protection compliance, advertising agency contracts, testimonial and merchandising engagements, licensing issues, and general contract design.
Daniel Hövel also advises and represents individuals, companies, and associations in data protection incidents and crisis situations, particularly in preventing and eliminating statements that may harm reputation or image.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Hövel is a lecturer at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main in the field of litigation and tactics. He also has several years of experience as a consultant at a corporate consultancy specializing in strategic brand management.
